GRACE provides detailed policy feedback and video calls to discuss policy gaps and development. Most faith-based protection policies have predictable gaps consistent with the insurance industry’s goal of reducing liability for the organization. Leaders must address these gaps as a part of an overall plan that prioritizes the protection of the vulnerable, not the protection of the ministry.

With each policy review, we will provide detailed written feedback for organizations with existing policies or guidance and a starting point for organizations that need new policies. GRACE helps organizations with policies related to all common forms of abuse including:

• child protection,

• clergy abuse,

• sexual and emotional misconduct,

• sexual harassment, and

• intimate partner violence (domestic violence).

Our Policy Review and Development services are included in our Safeguarding Initiative. However some churches and organizations may wish to seek policy review and development as a separate service.
